As long as the transfer isn't made from a Halifax or Bank of Scotland account the Amazon Credit Card is good for moving an outstanding balance for a relatively lengthy amount of time.

On top of this the card also offers a great introductory purchase rate of 0% for 6 months, making it fantastic for more substantial initial purchases.

Even after the offers end Amazon still offer 59 days interest free on all purchases, so providing you pay your monthly bill promptly, the account is highly consumer orientated.

Any shopping that you do online is protected by the Amazon.co.uk MasterCard online fraud guarantee. This means that should your card be misused you won't be liable to pay, thus providing you with extra reassurance when making purchases.

Plus you can manage your account online making it highly accessible, by simply going to the Halifax pages (the card provider) you can register for this service. Halifax also provides 24 hour customer service.

Amazon Rewards
Whilst the Amazon Credit Card suits a wide variety of people, their customer rewards are certainly biased towards consumer loyalty. For every £1 spent on your card you earn half a point and for every £1 spent on the Amazon website you earn 1 point.

When you have earned 1500 points you are e-mailed a £15 gift certificate to spend on the Amazon.co.uk website. As an additional incentive, Amazon also rewards you with a £15 gift certificate for your first card purchase. The point balance is displayed on the monthly statement. Be aware however that you stop earning points if you go over your credit limit or miss two consecutive payments.

For regular Amazon users and online shoppers this offer is a great perk as it rewards regular use of the Amazon.co.uk website which, as we know, offers a huge selection of products and services.

Final word...
Although you have to spend a relatively large amount of money to earn an Amazon gift certificate, the reward comes as a welcome extra that compliments a good solid all-round card.
