Who is eligible for a gold credit card?
There are typically two main requirements you need to fulfil in order to obtain a gold card.
- Age
The majority of lenders stipulate that you are at least 21 years old before you are eligible, however, a few companies will accept people at 18.
- Income
You will have to earn a reasonable wage to be considered. For most gold cards an annual income of around £20,000 is the base limit.
